Finding our Power Together through culture, community, and healing
Programs, services, and research for Indigenous youth, families, and communities.
Programs, services, and research for Indigenous youth, families, and communities.
Finding Our Power Together exists to end preventable death by suicide in Indigenous communities and to support our people to not only survive, but to thrive.
We work toward this goal by walking alongside communities, offering culturally grounded programs, mental health supports, and community-led research that reflect both evidence and Indigenous knowledge. We serve Indigenous children, youth, and communities across Canada.
Our name reflects our approach: we believe healing is not something we do alone. We find our power together through culture, through relationships, through systems that honour our right to be well.
Culturally grounded, healing-centered programs for Indigenous youth, families, and community members. This includes mental health services, land-based gatherings, group programs like DBT, ceremonies, peer mentorship, and more.
Work with our team to bring FOPT offerings into your community or organization. We provide custom facilitation, crisis support, strategic advising, and capacity building led by Indigenous experts and facilitators.
Through our Indigenous Research Lab, we lead participatory, arts-based, and community-driven research and evaluation projects that honour lived experience, generate real-world impact, and shape the policies that affect our people.
We offer free or low-cost counselling and peer mentorship for Indigenous children, youth, and community members. You deserve to feel supported and heard.
